FC Bayern Munich warms up for the Oktoberfest at the traditional Paulaner Lederhosen photo shoot
Once again this year, the FC Bayern Munich stars swapped their team shirts for the typical Bavarian attire at the traditional photo shoot for the club’s platinum partner Paulaner: The players and team staff are now well and truly ready for a visit to the world’s biggest folk festival, which will be opening its doors on 22 September.
Not only true-blue Bavarians like team captain Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, but also their new coach Niko Kovac and new team members Leon Goretzka and Serge Gnabry cut a fine figure in the traditional lederhosen, jackets and shoes.
After singing Happy Birthday to birthday boy Javi Martinez, celebrating his 30th birthday on the day of the lederhosen photo shoot, the record holders raised their glasses to a successful season with a Paulaner Hefe-Weißbier Non-Alcoholic.
And the Spanish world champion wasn’t the only person with a reason to celebrate at the photo shoot. Anja, a Bayern Munich fan from Heidenheim, became a star herself at the photo shoot: as the winner of the Paulaner Fan Dream, “The selfie of a lifetime”, she stood in front of the camera with her stars for the team photo.
